My hubby is a coffe addict and he was really surprised for the quality and the balance of acidity, aromatics and taste of the long black! I ordered an iced matcha and it was nice, the sandwiches are to share, we ordered the porcheta one and it felt really fresh. The service ladies were really nice and friendly.
Writing again to praise how amazing it is here! Everything is so fresh and incredibly tasty; the pecan croissant is easily one of my favorite desserts ever. I tried the dulce de leche iced coffee and the strawberry matcha, and they're delicious! Just try them. Lunas quickly became my top three coffee shops here, and I highly recommend everyone to come and visit! The owners are incredible, lovely people, super kind and attentive, they make the place even more special.
Luna’s Deli has become my favorite spot on the Coolangatta coast. As beautiful as this area is, it’s surprisingly hard to find cafés that truly care about the quality of their pastries. For a long time, it was frustrating to mostly find pastries that tasted industrial. Luna’s Deli feels completely different. They choose excellent ingredients, and you can taste the care behind everything they make — they even produce their own ice cream I also love that they’re always exploring and offering new things: ice cream flavours, pastries, alfajores, and seasonal specials for Christmas or Valentine’s Day. There’s a real sense of creativity and love for gastronomy here, which is rare along the coast. Every item is thoughtfully curated to stand out — like the strawberry matcha with strawberry cream foam — and that care shows up in every sandwich, toastie, pastry, etc. This isn’t just a quick coffee stop; it’s a place to sit and enjoy, or grab something delicious for the beach. If you’re looking for industrial, mass-produced pastries, this might not be the place. But for anyone who values real ingredients and craft, Luna’s Deli is a gem. Thank you also for the warm and attentive service You always make us feel welcome.
If you are a fan of pastries, gelato, Italian and French inspired sandwiches this little cute yellow cafe is a must try. The pastry couple powerhouse chefs are just gorgeous. They are creating all their favourite childhood memories within their menu. My absolute favourite was the pistachio gelato and Yazmin’s (owner and chef) iced chocolate. I was too full to try a pastry after eating their Mortadella and Croque Monsieur. I cannot wait to return to have a pastry next time and see what’s new. FYI Yazmin and Loic will have a seasonal menu with something new in the pastry window or in the gelato tubs. I hope our locals and GC foodies support this great little family business.
Amazing cafe and staff! The bright and welcoming shopfront drew out attention. The owner greeted us and spoke about their incredible pastries, focaccia and gelato that are all made in house. Everything was delicious and especially the coffee. It's refreshing seeing an establishment offering such fresh ingredients and for a very reasonable price!! We'll be back
No other words than WOW! You can taste how fresh each ingredients are and the quality of products they use. The service also made it even better. I will be back when I’m in the area again!
Wow! What a gem. This place is amazing, great food and an enticing Menu inspired by Mediterranean and South American flavours. I really enjoyed my brekkie and order a second portion. Coffee is also very good, strong and smooth and the staff are very friendly and happy! I will be going through this menu one dish at a time,
We love the quality, everything is fresh and delicious, best gelato in the coast! The owners are super friendly and highly skilled. Would definitely recommend it to anyone with a sweet tooth.
